What this site is

Field Tested is a short list, deliberately kept short. The accessory market is drowning in white-label junk with invented brand names and purchased reviews; the honest answer to “what should I buy” is almost always one of a handful of proven products. We list those, explain who each one is for in a sentence or two, and skip the rest. If a category page feels small, that’s the point.

We list accessories and range gear only: optics, holsters, cleaning equipment, slings, storage, bags, and everyday-carry gear. Never firearms, ammunition, or regulated components.

Every recommendation here assumes the four rules: treat every firearm as loaded, never point the muzzle at anything you aren’t willing to destroy, keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on target, and know your target and what’s beyond it. Store firearms locked and inaccessible to unauthorized users; several of our storage picks exist for exactly that reason. Follow all federal, state, and local laws, and get qualified instruction before carrying.
